Pure Simple Honey Main

pure. simple.

Crystal Pure Honey products are always 100% natural with no additives. We harvest raw honey from our 1500 family-owned hives located across San Diego and Riverside Counties.  Some of our Southern California hive locations are in Escondido, Fallbrook, Temecula, Hemet, Murrieta, Anza and Aguanga.  We offer raw honey, pollen, royal jelly, soap, body, face and lip balms. Each flavor of honey comes directly from the tree, flower or plant that the hive pollinates.  For instance our citrus flavor honey is taken from our hive that pollinates citrus tree groves, giving a mild, natural citrus taste to our honey.

Our goal is to give you access to the most pure, delicious raw honey available in Southern California. No sugar, water, or hidden additives needed!

natural. sustainable.

Crystal Pure Honey is extracted from our various bee hives located in orchards and other agricultural spots across Southern California. As beekeepers we have a sustainable relationship with local growers, who allow us to place our hives in their fields. In exchange, our bees make their trees and other agriculture flourish through pollination. Each flavor of honey derives its taste, color and name from the flower or plant it pollinated. We place our hives in citrus groves, hay fields, avocado groves, and hills blooming with local wildflowers. We then transport the honey comb to our Aguanga processing facility, where contaminates are filtered out in a carefully controlled heat room. The resulting honey is stored in large barrels in the heat rooms at a certain temperature to preserve the natural enzymes and await bottling. Once our beekeepers extract the honey comb, the unharmed bees immediately go back to work making more honey and building up their combs. A sustainable process with a delicious result!

Crystal and Gus Chavez have been beekeepers since 2005 and live in Aguanga. They are part of a larger family-run beekeeping & honey business that have been serving the Southern California region since 2005. Crystal’s father-in-law taught them the beekeeping trade. After learning from her father-in-law, Crystal and her husband dedicated themselves to beekeeping full-time, while raising their three children. As a family-run business, Crystal Pure Honey, treats its customers like family, with respect, loyalty and transparency. The care and dedication they take with thier bees has its end result in each jar of honey you buy. Try it for yourself and taste the Crystal Pure Honey difference!

frequently asked questions

No. Our honey is 100% natural. Many honey manufactures add sugar, starch, flour and/or artificial flavors to their honey.  We do not. Our various honey flavors, like Sage or Avocado, receive their name and distinct flavor from the type of flower the bees pollinate.

Bee pollen contains many vitamins, minerals and antioxidants, making it incredibly beneficial for your health. Bee pollen is known to decrease inflammation, alleviate allergies, work as an antioxidant, reduce stress, speed up wound healing, improve immunity, and alleviate menopausal symptoms. DO NOT TAKE if you are allergic to pollen or bees.

We have several local agricultural partners we work with who grant us access to their fields. We place our hives there to pollinate their crops and/or natural-occurring flowers.  For instance, our alfalfa flavored honey is derived from a bee hive that pollinates a hay field.  Our avocado flavored honey comes from a bee hive that pollinates an avocado grove. We also have hives that pollinate local wildflowers and sage growing in the hills.
